Summary of Selected Provisions
- Directs the Department of Education to create a grant program that supports engineering programs in elementary and secondary schools
- Permits “makerspaces” to receive funds from the Education Department’s career and technical education program
- Directs the Labor Department to create an Office of Apprenticeship and support the development of pre-apprenticeship programs
- Renames the Department of Commerce to the Department of Innovation and Investment
