Senate Defense Appropriations Subcommittee Roster

FEB 03, 1997

The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense is responsible for writing an appropriations bill that funds, among other programs, Department of Defense Research and Development. Below is the roster for this subcommittee for the 105th session of Congress. Included with each subcommittee member’s name is a web site. Information on rosters comes from the Congressional Quarterly’s Washington Alert. (The chairman and ranking member of the full Appropriations Committee, Republican Ted Stevens of Alaska and Democrat Robert Byrd of West Virginia are ex officio members of all subcommittees.) See FYI #9 for the House National Security Appropriations Subcommittee.
