Senate VA/HUD/IA Appropriations Subcommittee Roster

The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Veterans’ Affairs, Housing and Urban Development, and Independent Agencies is responsible for writing an appropriations bill that funds, among other agencies, the National Science Foundation and NASA. Below is the roster for this subcommittee for the 105th session of Congress. Included with each subcommittee member’s name is a web site. Information on rosters comes from the Congressional Quarterly’s Washington Alert. (The chairman and ranking member of the full Appropriations Committee, Republican Ted Stevens of Alaska and Democrat Robert Byrd of West Virginia are ex officio members of all subcommittees.)
