Building Indigenous STEM Professionals Act
Purpose
A bill to amend the STEM education program for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian students under the Higher Education Act of 1965.

- Directs that programs with 70% or more Native Americans be given priority during the grant award selection. The figure in current law is 30%.

- Recommends the program receive $5 million annually through fiscal year 2025
