How Does Smoking Pot Affect Our Ability to Drive?

(Inside Science) -- We know that alcohol and some prescription drugs can make impair a person’s ability to drive… but what about smoking marijuana? Researchers at the University of Colorado School of Public Health are trying to find out how smoking pot affects driving and how to develop a roadside test for THC.

“I think it’s in everyone’s interest to have good scientific information available,” said Michael Kosnett, an associate professor at the University of Colorado in Denver.
