Jonathan Perry

Dr. Jonathan Perry is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Physics at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to his current position, he completed a Ph.D. in physics at Texas A&M University and served as a physics course coordinator for a dual enrollment program, working with high school physics teachers across Texas. His regular activities include teaching large classes and supporting the development of teaching excellence for faculty, graduate, and undergraduate instructors. As a Physics Education Researcher he has focused studies in both formal and informal contexts, particularly focusing on understanding the role that outreach programs can play in student development.
