Meredith LeMasurier

Meredith LeMasurier is Chief Publishing Officer at AIP Publishing, where she leads the organization’s publishing strategy and journal portfolio in support of its mission to advance the physical sciences. Meredith began her career in research, with a Ph.D. from Brandeis University and postdoctoral studies at OHSU. She then transitioned into scholarly publishing, and brings extensive experience with senior editorial, publishing management, and commercial leadership roles at Elsevier, Springer Nature, and Digital Science. At Springer Nature, she was Editor-in-Chief of Nature Neuroscience before moving into a series of senior publishing leadership positions, including overseeing the organization’s industry-leading open access portfolio. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President for the publisher market at Digital Science. Drawing on her background as a researcher and editor, Meredith is deeply committed to author experience, editorial integrity, and community-centered publishing. She is passionate about building sustainable, mission-driven publishing programs that align values with long-term growth.
