  1. Lithium - A soft, silver-white metal, and a major ingredient of modern batteries. It is the lightest metal and the least dense solid element.
  2. Cobalt - A metal that is frequently mined for use in traditional lithium-ion batteries. Originating from the German word for ‘evil spirit,’ Colbalt was once thought to be poisonous.
  3. Madder Plant - A plant that has been used as a dye for more than 5,000 years. Madder plant was even found in King Tut’s tomb from 1350 BC.
