Inside Science Buzzwords:

  1. Tomography – a medical imaging technique that creates cross section images of the body to reveal underlying medical conditions.
  2. Arteries - Blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart.
  3. Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) – An obstruction in the arteries, which restricts blood flow throughout the body and can lead to stroke, heart attack and amputation.
