July 2015 Photos of the Month
The Fourth of July is upon us! In honor of this Independence Day, we’ve gathered images of scientists and presidents from our past. Collaborations between some of the greatest political and scientific minds have made America a country that embraces technological advancements. Whether it be the congressional appropriation to support Samuel Morse’s electric telegraph or launching the first man to the moon, America’s funding of science has proven to be a pairing that can result in ingenuity and success.
Please enjoy these photos of some of our favorite scientists meeting presidents of the United States. If you cannot find your favorite president, no fear, we have an extensive collection on our website. Just type the name of the politician or the word “presidents” in the ESVA search engine.
