FY 2011 Request for Defense Science and Science and Technology Programs
The FY 2011 budget for the Department of Defense would increase by 2.2 percent under the Obama Administration’s request, from $693.3 billion to $708.2 billion. Spending for the three defense science and technology programs would decline by 12.5 percent.

The FY 2011 request is $1,999 million, an increase of $117 million or 6.2 percent.
Aggregate 6.2 Applied Research
The FY 2010 appropriations was $5,061 million.
The FY 2011 request is $4,476 million, a decline of $585 million or 11.6 percent.

The FY 2010 appropriation is $6,578 million.
