FY 2012 Defense Legislation: House Appropriations Bill, House and Senate Authorization Bills
Congress is scheduled to go on its summer recess at the end of next week. When it returns in September, continued work on the FY 2012 defense authorization and appropriations bills will be on the agenda. The House passed its version of the defense authorization bill, HR 1540
The committee report
The funding recommendations in the three bills for the 6.1 Basic Research, 6.2 Applied Research, and 6.3 Advanced Technology Development Programs follow, rounded to the nearest million. The FY 2011 appropriation figures were calculated and provided by the R&D Budget and Policy Program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
6.1 Basic Research Program
