Last Year’s House Vote on Space Station Appropriations

JUN 21, 1994

With the House Appropriations Committee mark-up of the fiscal year 1995 VA/HUD appropriations bill scheduled for tomorrow, action will then shift to the House floor, which is scheduled to vote on the bill next week. A close floor vote is expected again this year on the space station.

Last year the House voted to preserve space station funding in the FY 1994 VA/HUD bill, defeating an amendment to cancel the station by 196-220. Last year’s roll call vote is provided below. Due to limited space, listed are only those representatives who voted last year TO TERMINATE the space station, and those NOT VOTING. Any representative NOT LISTED BELOW voted IN SUPPORT OF the station program.
