FY 2005 Defense Department Appropriations Bill Complete

JUL 22, 2004

Few appropriations bills are expected to be passed this year as stand-alone bills. Tight funding and policy differences are leading almost everyone to conclude that an omnibus bill containing almost all of the thirteen appropriations bills will be passed, although the schedule is unknown. There are exceptions to this, mostly notably the FY 2005 Department of Defense Appropriations Bill, which cleared a House and Senate conference committee yesterday.
