The Niels Bohr Library & Archives

NBLA is a repository and hub for information in the history of physics, astronomy, geophysics, and allied fields.

Our holdings of over 30,000 published materials include textbooks, monographs, rare books and more dating from the 1500s to the present day.

And as the official home for the records of AIP and its Member Societies, our archival collections include approximately 4,000 linear feet of materials, plus nearly 2,000 oral histories. The NBLA is also home to the Emilio Segrè Visual Archives, which contains over 30,000 photographs and other visual materials.
