Inside Science is proud to be an official Festival Partner of the 3rd USA Science & Engineering Festival , to be held April 26-27, 2014 in Washington, D.C.

What is the universe made of? Why did dinosaurs go extinct? What do magic tricks and hip-hop have to do with math? Could a chimp beat you at video games? Explore these questions and more at the USA Science & Engineering Festival Expo where more than 250,000 students and parents, more than 5,000 teachers, and more than 3,000 Science, technology, engineering and mathematics professionals will come together for the largest celebration of the STEM fields.

Participants will include more than 1,000 of the world’s leading professional scientific and engineering societies, universities, government agencies, high-tech corporations and STEM outreach and community organizations.

This year, Inside Science will host a very special booth that puts you in front of the camera as a science journalist reporting on the scene of some exciting locations.

The two-day Expo is perfect for teens, children and their families, and anyone with a curious mind who is looking for a weekend of fun and discovery. Meet science celebrities like Mike Rowe, host of the Discovery Channel’s Dirty Job series, David Pogue, host of the NOVA ScienceNow series on PBS, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and the Grammy Award-winning band, “They Might Be Giants!”
