This is a compilation of some of our most popular data concerning the initial post-degree employment of physics PhD and bachelor’s degree recipients. The data represents the outcomes of individuals receiving their physics degrees in the classes of 2019 and 2020. It includes data on: fields of employment, sectors of employment, starting salaries, and knowledge and skills used. Also included is data on the proportion of physics bachelor’s degree recipients pursuing graduate study in physics, astronomy, and other fields.
