Roster of Astronomy Departments with Enrollment and Degree Data, 2012

The most current enrollment and degree data for each degree-granting astronomy department in the U.S. The total number of astronomy bachelor’s degrees awarded in recent years has increased sharply with about twice as many degrees being awarded than a decade ago. The number of astronomy PhDs awarded in recent years has also been increasing, up about 50% from a decade ago. The findings in this report come from the annual AIP survey of Enrollments and Degrees.
