What high school physics teachers teach

There is a variety in the types of physics classes taught in high school from Physics First to AP and second-year courses. In this report, we take a closer look at the academic backgrounds of teachers teaching the various types of physics classes. In addition to their physics classes, two-thirds of the teachers teaching high school physics teach classes in other subjects. We also examine the number of classes physics teachers teach in other subject areas.
