One physics bachelor’s degree recipient in seven begins their postsecondary education at a two-year college. How do these graduates differ from traditional students? |

What we’re working on now |
September |
September is always a busy month as we gear up for our fall survey cycle. Each fall, we reach out to every degree-granting physics and astronomy department in the US. |
|
|
We are gathering essential data from these departments, and this year we’re expanding our efforts to include atmospheric science programs. While the numbers matter, the heart of this survey lies in collecting the names and email addresses of all recent degree recipients. This allows us to follow up with graduates about six to twelve months after they finish their studies, giving the insights that power some of our most popular resources:
Who’s Hiring Physics Bachelors
Who’s Hiring Physics PhDs.
We are deeply grateful to the department chairs, administrators, advisors, and SPS advisors whose support makes this work possible.
Thank you
