Underrepresented Minorities in High School Physics

African Americans and Hispanics continue to lag behind other racial and ethnic groups in high school physics taking. Using data from our 2012-13 Nationwide Survey of High School Physics Teachers, we examine the relationship between socioeconomics and physics taking by race.
