Teaching Guides on History of the Physical Sciences
Teaching Guides on History of the Physical Sciences
In the 2010s and early 2020s, AIP’s history team produced dozens of teaching guides for use in K–12 curricula, many assembled by summer interns. The guides generally include a lesson plan for teachers, activities for students, and historical materials for students to engage. The collection is particularly rich in pedagogical material spotlighting the evolving place of women and underrepresented racial and ethnic groups in the physical sciences.
